As of the beginning of September we have 110 members. Thanks to everyone for either joining or renewing your membership promptly. Remember only members are insured to attend any of the groups.
There are currently 14 groups running (see full programme). The newest groups are Crafts4U, Crafts (was knit and natter) and Scrabble.
The next meeting is on Thursday 4th October and the speaker is Charles Hanson. I have attended a recent auction with Charles in charge and he was very entertaining. Not to be missed. (Melbourne Assembly Rooms 2-4 pm)
The November 1st meeting is a talk by Derbyshire’s Digital PCSO James Land. He will talk about cybercrime and online security to help protect you from becoming a victim of online crime. (Venue to be confirmed 2-4 pm).
The December 6th meeting will be a Christmas themed meeting with fun and games. The meeting will include quizzes, a free raffle and a book/magazine and jig-saw swap. Christmas themed refreshments will be available. Make sure you put it in your diary. (Melbourne Assembly Rooms 2-4 pm)
