Visit to Catton Hall @ Catton Hall

We have rearranged the postponed visit to Catton Hall for Tuesday 27 September at 2.00 pm.  If your name was down for that visit, please let us know if you still wish to come, but we shall contact all those down on the original list.  If you were not down on the original list and now wish to come to Catton, please let us know.  The cost of the visit is £10, including a tour of the house and gardens and then an afternoon tea.

Karen Kreft is a well-known researcher and writer on Social History topics and is a contributor to Ticknall Life online community magazine.

Karen’s talk will be on the history of Gamekeeping and how it worked, using Calke Abbey as an example.  A most informative and interesting talk.
