Art Group – A Passion for Art @ Village Hall, Ticknall

The Ticknall Art Group has been meeting to paint together since 1994.

We all have differing abilities and techniques and learn from each other although we do have a tutor from time to time, usually about once every six weeks or so.

We meet at Ticknall Village Hall on Thursday afternoons for 2 hours and hold an exhibition once a year, also taking part in any other event that gives us the opportunity to display our work.

Lunch Club @ Village Hall, Ticknall

Ticknall Luncheon Club was started by Mary Magson in September 2008 and has been running successfully since. It has proved to be extremely popular with Ticknall residents.

It is a great opportunity to get to know your neighbours.

The lunches are open to all Ticknall residents and generally take place fortnightly on a Tuesday. Check the Events Calendar to confirm dates.

Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of every month in Ticknall Village Hall at 7.30pm.

Day: Last Wednesday of the month

Historical Society – Day Out @ Ecclesbourne Railway

Outside visit – Come ride on the restored Ecclesbourne line from Duffield to Wirksworth.

Visitors to Ticknall are most welcome to attend the meetings of the Ticknall Preservation & Historical Society held on the last Friday of each month at 7.30 pm in The Village Hall, Ingleby Lane.
