Garden Club

Green Fingers? Or just green with envy at other people’s success? Whatever your involvement in horticultural pursuits you will be made most welcome at the regular meetings of the Ticknall Garden Club. The club was established in 1990 and has over 100 members.

  • We meet on the second Tuesday of each month, (excepting August), in Ticknall Village Hall commencing at 7.30 p.m.
  • Members: £2.00, Visitors: £4.00. Annual subscription: £12.00

Knowledgeable speakers cover a wide variety of topics of interest to experienced and not-so-experienced gardeners! The talks are followed by a social half-hour, with refreshments, when plants can often be purchased and gardening tips exchanged.

Other benefits of membership include visits to famous gardens, horticultural shows and events, near & far. And even a Ticknall Garden Club holiday.

Ticknall Garden Club is affiliated with the Royal Horticultural Society.

Come and join Ticknall Garden Club

Visitors are always most welcome to our meetings and our membership is not restricted to those who reside in Ticknall but covers a wide local area. If you are visiting the area do come along and join us for the evening.

There are some outstanding gardens in the Ticknall area and you may get an invitation to visit one whilst you are here!
