This wonderful photograph was recently found in a drawer at Calke Abbey. It is proving to be quite a mystery. It had at some time in the past been torn in half, but Bryan has done an excellent job of digitally repairing it.

The elderly lady in black at the front of the photo bears a striking resemblance to the locally famous Ann Banton, a lady from Ticknall, who lived to be 101 years old. On her hundredth birthday, the whole village had a huge celebration. If this is indeed Ann the photo must have been taken on that day, with I presume her entire family around her.
The building in the background might be a useful clue, especially if it was in Ticknall. Does anyone recognise the building, or indeed, any of the people in the photograph? Your help to solve the mystery would be much appreciated.
